Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 31, 2026
Short version: We don't collect much data, we don't sell it, and we don't track you across the internet. Every course is free — no account required, no email required to start learning.
What we collect
- Nothing you type into the quiz. The business-fit quiz runs entirely in your browser. Your answers never leave your device.
- Anonymous usage data. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) logs standard request data: pages visited, browser type, approximate location from IP. We use this to understand which courses people find useful. We cannot identify you from it.
- Website analytics. We use two analytics tools, described in the cookies section below: Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookieless) and Google Analytics (sets cookies). Neither is used to advertise to you or to follow you to other websites.
- Email address — only if you give it to us. If you subscribe to our newsletter or download a worksheet that requires email delivery, we store your address to send you what you asked for. You can unsubscribe at any time.
What we don't do
- We don't sell, rent, or share your data with anyone.
- We don't run third-party advertising trackers.
- We don't use cookies to follow you across other websites. The only cookies we set ourselves are the Google Analytics identifiers described above.
- We don't require an account to use the site.
Cookies and analytics
Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless. It counts page views and visits in aggregate and cannot identify or track an individual. Nothing is stored on your device for it.
Google Analytics (Google tag: G-PTEGWPGQ3Z) sets a small number of first-party cookies on this domain to distinguish visitors and sessions:
_ga— a random visitor identifier, lasts up to 2 years._ga_<container-id>— session persistence for the measurement, lasts up to 2 years, refreshed as you browse.
These cookies are used only to produce aggregate statistics (which pages are read, roughly where visitors come from, for how long). We do not link them to your identity, we do not share them with advertisers, and we do not use them for advertising or ad personalization. Google may process the data under its own privacy policy.
You can refuse or delete these cookies at any time through your browser settings, and the site works fully without them. If you block them, Google Analytics simply records nothing about your visit.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site (especially in our gear recommendations) are affiliate links, primarily to Amazon. When you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. Amazon's cookie is set on their domain, not ours — we never see your Amazon account, purchase history, or payment information. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.
Third-party services
We use the following services that may set their own cookies or collect data under their own policies:
- Cloudflare — hosting, CDN, and cookieless Web Analytics. Their privacy policy.
- Google Analytics — aggregate website statistics (see the cookies section). Their privacy policy.
- Amazon Associates — affiliate links. Their privacy policy.
- Google Fonts — typography (loaded from Google's CDN). Their privacy policy.
Your rights
Depending on your location (California, EU, etc.), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete data we hold about you. Since we hold almost nothing, this is usually simple: if you want to know what email address we have, or want it deleted, contact us and we'll handle it within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we'll note the date above and describe what changed. We won't retroactively apply new terms to data you've already given us under the old terms.
